This chair has two problem areas
As stated in the other 1 & 3 star reviews, the back is very loose and wobbles, even when put together according to the instructions. More problematic is that there are two chair screws that are felt on the back of one's legs when seated. They also leave two distinct impressions in the leather-like fabric when no one is seated in the chair. To Staples or the manufacturer...

terrible hydraulics
I only have the chairs 10 months and the hydraulics are shot on nearly all that I had purchased. They elevate to where you want them but when you sit down, they slowly slide down to the lowest level...not good for our customers being TATTOOED at our tattoo shop!!!

Good chairs
We purchased three chairs to use in our office. They were easy to assemble and are comfortable to sit in. The only thing is they could use a little more padding in the seat area.

Bad quality
After half year, the pad becomes thinner as a paper. The screws under the pad is hurting the person who sits on it.

Good, comfortable chair!
I have only used this chair for a few weeks but it is very similar to the one it is replacing. I ‘live” in this chair so comfort is a major consideration. I appreciate that it is just soft enough to kind of shape itself to you as you sit instead of “fighting back” in hardness. It tends to fit itself to your body and sitting for long periods does not tire me out, though ...

Would love to return this chair!
Worst chair I've ever had to use. Seat will not stay level....leans even after adjusting multiple times. Back loosens up after several days. Squeaks like crazy! All problems from the first day we setup. Not good a good chair if you need to use 8 hours a day at work.....bad from the start....would have returned if I hadn't assembled.

COMFORT AT A GREAT PRICE
We loved the 4 chairs so much for our customers at out tattoo shop, that we purchased 4 additional chairs for our artists as well. Extremely comfortable for long hours of sitting in one place while tattooing or being tattooed.

Ergonomic LeatherSoft Mid-back Task Chair
I had one of these when I was married, but it went to my ex when I left him. That was four years ago. I missed it dearly every time I sat down to the computer or my sewing machine. I purchased a new one because the chair I was using was hurting my back. No more pain! I love the chair.
