Receiver Sensitivity Specs
What are the sensitivity specifications for each band on the ER310? None of the other weather radios I've owned have had an AM band that would receive any of the AM stations in my area except the really powerful stations, even though they are well within the 0.5 mV/m Daytime Groundwave Service Contour. I had an old (circa 1980) AM/FM radio that had very good AM sensiti...

Just need a storm!
The radio is set-up and ready. It was a little more complicated than I expected. Weather has been nice. Waiting for chance to test in real storm conditions.

Does not pick ip NOAA channels
This radio does not pick up any NOAA stations. Not even the ones for my area. It also very poorly only picks up 2 radio stations. Not worth the money. If you depend on this radio for an emergency then you most likely will die.

ER310+READY Review
This radio is the most sensitive WX radio I have. The solar charge panel works very well too. Excellent take along or home base.

Fantastic companion to have with you
This is a fantastic product! It is the perfect radio to have on hand. If I had one request, it would be really nice to have an alarm clock addition on the clock setting. Also, if you live in a rural area, like I do, or have it in a steel structured building, it is difficult to maintain the Wx band. However, when we went out walking and driving, it was crystal clear. Rec...

Handy emergency radio
I liked the idea of the solar charger along with the hand crank and plug in option. I also like the clock, the radio features, flashlight etc. built pretty well and fairly compact. Antenna is a little hard to pull out, but big deal unit works and receives really well with it in too. We live an hour from nearest large town, and reception with antenna in is fine. Being ab...

Great for Info While Boondocking in RV
Easy to use as a source of information on weather events while boondocking. Can sleep better at night knowing I'll receive weather alerts if needed. Solar and crank charging are a bonus.

The amazing Midland Crank Weather Radio
This is my 2nd Midland Emergency Crank Weather Radio. I bought my first in the 1990's and it helped me through many hurricanes and power outages. A couple of years ago I could not get a recharge on the battery (over 25 yrs) and knew it was time for a new one, so now I have it. I look forward to getting to know my new one.

Doesn't charge phones
Overall happy with the radio but don't expect it to charge your phones. Even though it states that it will 'Recharge your USB compatible devices' it stops charging after a few minutes. When I asked support they told me 'We do not promise 100% charging and we have mentioned it already that it will NOT act as a power bank and charge the phone to 100%.'. Seems misleading ...

Peace of Mind is Priceless!
I procrastinated for a long time before I bought an emergency radio. Finally ordered mine and feel a sense of relief now. I shouldn’t have waited so long. My peace of mind was worth 100x’s the cost of my Midland!
