Works Wonderfully
Advertised as refurbished, but it appears totally unused,new. I'm tired of paying for ink cartridges and printers which die. This printer is built well and does an excellent job. Be aware that the printer is USB connected and does not come with a printer USB cable Do not use thick paper such as photo paper with this printer.

Useless printer for MAC
This printer will not connect to Mac for printing. Further, this lack of connectivity is not mentioned in specifications of Brother web site, nor mentioned on Staples site. I am astounded that this can happen.

It is just like brand new
I couldn’t tell this printer was refurbished. It came in the oem box with all oem packaging, software and manuals. It prints beautifully and as described! I was eventually able to get it working on my windows network so I could print from afar, but windows made that difficult, not Brother. I haven’t tried Mac yet but I’ve read that it will work. Don’t presume, like I did, this unit has a scanner/copier feature. It does not. It is a wired printer only- not even wireless.

Works well
I finally replaced my old ink jet due to my high volume printing. This printer is perfect for my need. The original toner cartridge that came with it is going strong. Very quiet and efficient. Printing is fast and nice quality. Should have definitely invested in this sooner!

After having problems connecting a different printer to WiFi, I chose to try a wired connection. That didn’t connect no matter what I tried. In desperation I bought this basic Brother, connected it by USB, got Brother tech support, and I’m printing.

My favorite printer
We bought this printer refurbished but could not tell the difference between the brand new one we bought years ago. It’s an excellent printer and one of the reasons it’s our favorite go-to is because it’s efficient, and prints a lot without any issues.

Refurbished printer works fair
Bought refurbished printer, it works but prints with dark and light streaks through the page. I use it only for documents but not very happy. Dont have the time to return and wait for a replacement. Buy new

not what was promised
Bought the warranty when I purchased this product and expecting to get a new one if anything goes wrong. I received a refurbished one and really don't know how long this product was used by the previous buyer and how soon it will breakdown.

I bought a refurb Bother HL-L23200 for $95. It was a great price and had a new toner cartridge. Took just a few minutes to set up and works perfectly. Nice to be able to do two-side prints. This printer produces nice prints and fast. My problem with it (maybe it is only on MAC) it never stays connected to my computer. Every time IU print, I need to turn off the printer and turn it on again so printing becomes possible. This means it takes a few minutes each time I want to print a copy.
