I had a difficult time focusing on anything . . .
I wanted to share this with my three year old granddaughter, but even with many tries at adjusting both focus wheels, could not use it effectively myself. So that was disappointing. Wish there were explicit directions on where to place items to see them clearly.

Served it's purpose
I'm amazed at the excellent magnification and the microscopic details I was able to see, and especially with the LED light. However, it has a flaw in the very center of the lens, a little dark speck which makes me have to angle it to see what I'm trying to focus on. However, the cost to return it is more than the price of the unit, so I'll buy another one. But it did ex...

Carson Optical Micromax Led 60x-100x Pocket Microscope, Black
The little microscope is simple and straightforward. It uses no slides, but is simply placed over the specimen. The led does a good job of illuminating and the focus and zoom are straightforward. It is easily handled and the base structure protects the lens well. You will discover many uses for it if you do much work in a wood or metal shop. I had a similar one about 15...
