Epson cartridges
Got exactly what was shown, official Epson cartridges for my old XP-440. They work as they always have. Dependable. A bit pricey, but that's the usual for ink, even for older running printers.

Printer Held Hostage
I had to purchase a magenta cartridge just so I could print in black. In what world does that make sense? Epson holds your printer hostage but not letting it print in black if any of the three primary colored ink cartridges are empty.

I've had many printers and used a great deal of ink over the past 25 years or so but glad I found Epson and Epson ink. Nothing is perfect but Epson comes close.

Poor Black Ink Cartridges Copy & Print Yield
I have purchased in the past both the Epson T288 Standard and XL versions of Ink Cartridges. The XL Version claims to YIELD 500 Copy/Print and claims to YIELD 2.5X the Standard Version! Definitely False from my experience. I’ve been tracking… and the Standard Version… Yields approx 75-100 Prints on Low Density, Draft Print… the LEAST and Lowest Print choice on Plain Pap...

Delivered quickly
Epson ink, is, of course, expensive, and their software now makes it impossible to substitute generic cartridges, so although these monopolistic practices can't be avoided, at least Staples is able to deliver the cartridges quickly and conveniently.

Epson black ink cartridges...
I haven't actually used them yet because the Epson has a workaround it offers to combine some color ink to make black.
Anyway previously, I bricked this printer with my prior purchase of epson cartridges, from Staples!
So...hm...I got over being outraged but humbly would love to be reimbursed for the cartridges i bought before that didn't work and bricked the printer....
