Not well designed
The item is difficult to set up hard to change position and therefore much less useful than I had hoped. Strange system of buttons that are plastic and difficult to push that adjust each individual joint making doing so into a difficult math problem (each joint is labeled with degrees!) It will serve my purpose. So I would say it is "OK." There are a couple of issues that only became apparent after working with it. 1. It is difficult to adjust up or down. So quick changes are out of the question. 2. It is highly unstable. It cannot be adjusted with the laptop on the deck. Position it as desired then mount the laptop. It works fine but the plastic is quite slippery on a smooth desk so it shifted around easily. I added some soft pads that made it better but really they should have been included or the contact should have been considered. Too much trouble

Easy to set up
The computer stand is very easy to set up using push buttons at the joints. Sturdy and lightweight. Especially nice are the fans powered by USB connection.

We use it a lot more then I thought we would. I’ll be buying another one because my son ends up using it as much as I do. We take it camping & sleep overs to be comfortable wherever we are at.

One of the fans is not working. But the stand is still what I expected! I really solved the problem I had (leaning to the front towards the lap top).
