Wrong Size Poor Labeling
Bi-Pin bulbs come in different sizes (distance between the pins) which I didn't know. Even if I had known there would have been no way of telling which size these bulbs were either from the online description or from the package itself (on which I assume the online description was based). It works.
It seems that halogen lamp bulbs are hard to come by these days what with LED reigning as the light bulb of choice nowadays. Clearly I came to the right place when looking for a replacement halogen bulb -- Staples. Of course they carried it. But of course it was back ordered and took a while to arrive. It works!

Replacement Bulb
Service at the store was great. They ordered the bulb for me and it was delivered direct to my home. The lamp is back in operation. Received two bulbs in the pack. Great to have a spare one.

Desk lamp bulbs
Staples did not have them in store but they ordered them online right away and I had them in just a few days. Great service!

Pies poor
Not happy. Does not fit in lamp. Sent a dozen instead of two. Have to make a trip back to store. Would not have happened if bulbs were in stock in store.

Replacement bulbs
Other than a lack of instructions on the proper way to insert this bulb once I had the bulb inserted correctly it worked just fine. I didn't realize the pins were different and no light would shine unless the pins were in the correct holes.
