Good product
These envelopes require moistening to seal, which is better for the environment; there is no pull-strip to end up in the trash. Rated 4 stars because they come enclosed in plastic, not in a cardboard box.

self-sealing closure
I didn't realize when it was ordered that they were self-sealing envelopes. It always seems to me that moistened glue closure is more secure when done properly.

Perfect for Slimline Cards
Great value! These envelopes are perfect and cheaper than other alternatives to send the new craze slimline cards. Unlike most business style envelopes, these have an elegant “box” style flap instead of the “pointed” flap.

Just fine for the job
I ordered #9 envelopes to make them into business reply envelopes for a non-profit group. They are adequate for the job and seem sturdy enough. I also felt they are economical, which was a plus in choosing them. Thanks!

JAM Paper #9 Business Envelopes
These are a nice weight but are not security envelopes. They are not easily see thru but easy enough to read what's inside if you press on the envelope to the letter inside. Nor are they self stick - you have to wet them to seal. Fine for the price if you don't mind no security and licking envelopes.
