Not as quiet as it should be
This is a good cooling unit. Tiny switch on the side does turn on the (unneeded) blue lights. There is a variable speed wheel as well. It moves air just the way it should. However, you can certainly hear the vibration of the fans spinning and a slight whistle/hum. A little distracting.
Overall useful but not a big WOW.

Thermaltake® CLN001PL14BUA
This Laptop Cooler reminds me of what was available in the past, built sturdy with the bells and whistles included, some of the other brands of laptop Coolers in this price range are junk, the Thermaltake® CLN001PL14BUA is a breath of fresh air.

Quiet and cool
Nice compact cooler. Holds my 17 inch comfortably on the desk or on my lap. Did I mention that it's quiet? The blue light is nice, but not overwhelming. Highly recommend!
