USED cartridge
Added this Brand New cartridge and then checking to see why it did not improve printing message read: “previously used cartridge or defected cartridge”. this is not the first time that I have bought a “new” cartridge from Staples and that time it also stated “used cartridge”.

Genuine HP Inkjet Ink
I have been using my HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 color inkjet printer for 8 years now. I have heard and read many reports of Inkjet printers degraded print quality over time.
