The cartridge works well with the 6978 printer and the other color cartridges.

I was looking for the ink at other stores and no one else had it. It was only available on online order. Staples had it in stock and I got some dollars off since I had brought in the empty cartridges. There is a 25% off coupon that should be coming in 30 days as well. I do like the convenience of the 4 pack. The Black is XL. I do wish there was a choice for all colors XL also. Print colors are good.

The big 902 black became empty in two weeks and 150 pages...
I purchased two 902 black ink cartridges from the Staples store and we had to order the three colors because the store was out. These inks were for our church copier. I two Sundays the first black ink cartridge was empty. I didn't see where it leaked out but I feel ripped off and unlikely to trust HP products anymore. I like my CANON copier here at home... GREAT SERVICE AGAIN!!!

Replacing used Ink Cartridge
HP ink cartridges are the best bet for replacing your used up ones!

Pricy printing
Cost of ink is too much. Never a sale or coupon u can use. Also can never use returned cartridges credit.

This 3 pack costs more than buying the same 3 individual XLcolor cartridges. Why state "Special Buy" ?
