Battery not replacable
Not sure how it can be considered "green" if one cannot replace the battery.

They work ok but when the battery goes bad it's not replaceable and it seems like that is pretty often

Item is esactly what I needed
Purchase had to be sent to the store for pick-up and it was delayed for some reason. Not happy about the shipping issue, but the product was perfect.

Not environmentally friendly
I like the price, but the battery is not replaceable. That means at the end of its' life cycle, I have to send it in for "recycling", which usually means "somebody else will throw it out for you".

Failed completely after only a year.
I purchased this unit specifically to keep the internet modem & router powered on during brief power outages (common in my area). Not only does this unit not provide any backup whatsoever now, it also randomly starts "beeping" at times and the only way to stop it is to unplug it completely from the wall (which kills everything since the backup no longer works). Solid UPS
Straightforward UPS that substitutes for a power strip. Heavier than expected. Easy to set up. Power light is unobtrusive and helpful to see that the unit is operational. Size allows for it to be tucked away out of sight. I’m using it for my mesh network.

This is my second one; first one lasted 7 years before notifying me via loud shrill alarm that it was end of lifespan. In the interim, it would save my electronics from shutting down in brief power outages hundreds of times probably. Staples price was good, picked up in store a few days after ordering when they notified me that it was in.
