Socket damaged

What I expected
These backup are pretty good. I always buy the cheapest one because if I lose power I only need enough time to shut down the computer the right way. The only problem with these units is that when they get older the batterys don't work. I had a power outage and of all the UPS's I have only 1 beeped at me and this was the one I just bought. This is an inexpensive way to protect a wireless bridge. My previous unit failed after 4 years in service but it failed after getting very very hot. It was a CyberPower. No user replaceable battery
This unit unlike most APV ups devices does not have a user replaceable battery. No indication of that on the packaging. Very disappointing.
