Fine but finicky to start!
It does the job it is meant to do but getting the ink to flow initially took quite the effort!!! Keep at it.

Has the well run dry?
After the prescribed shaking and point pressure there was nothing. Sounded like it had ink/paint but could not make a mark. Either I misunderstood the directions or missed a step or the pen just doesn’t work as expected. Perhaps old stock ?Can’t recommend a product that didn’t work for me.

Sharpie OilBased Paint Marker Fine Tip White Ink 1873937 was dried up when opened
This pen was completely dried out when I opened it in spite of being securely wrapped in plastic. I could not use it at all.

Slow starter but did the job.
It took a long time for the paint to start flowing. So much so that I thought it must be dried up. Once it started it worked great. NlIt produced nice narrow lines.

It reminded me of a oil-based white pen that I had in high school for fabric. Very good! DAC

Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Marke
I used it to mark keys on a computer keyboard where 4 letters had worn away over the years. This ink only lasted about a week after leaving it to dry for about 24 hours. it was also difficult to get the ink flowing originally as the instructions were not easily found n the packaging and in tiny print.

it was fine but it did not work as well as I had hoped on the buttons of my TV remote. The numbers have worn off a bit and I was hoping to make them clearer but I guess the material the buttons were made of were not condusive with the pen.

Great for drawing
I got the Sharpie fine point oil based markers for my son who is an artist. He has worked with pencils, gel pens, fine point markers, alcohol markers, acrylic paints, and now watercolor paint, so I thought I would see how he liked these in comparison to what he's already worked with. Needless to say he was very impressed with how smooth the wrote, and how easily he was ...

Work well
SHARPIE FN 5PK PRIM work well. I enjoy using these sharpies when I have something fancy to write or a thick material to use. These are the ones that you shake and press down for the ink to come out. My kids and I used them for a red, white & blue theme.

Great for writing on non-standard surfaces
I used these in a few different scenarios. I first tried writing on sheet metal for labeling ports on electronics, to which it worked extremely well. Seemed to dry very quick, very vivid colors, and didn't skimp on the "ink" that it left behind. If you are trying to fill in a large area with one of these markers you have to remember to press the tip in to allow more of ...

love me a sharpie!
As a Sharpie addict I love this new option, they are fun to use and the oil base opens up a variety of new use options. Writes like a medium tip Sharpie but has the benefits of a paint pen. Would love to see a wide variety of color options in this pen style!

Love these
I am honestly amazed at how bright the colors on this 5 pack of sharpie markers look. The black is deep and dark. The blue is just plain solid looking. The red is rich and powerful. The white is a bright white and the yellow makes my Brazilian flag stand out! I am no artist, but I have gotten compliments on the colors of my work. Maybe if I improve my skills, they will ...

So versatile!
I am really loving these Sharpie paint pens! My favorite use so far has been to write on the top of my spice jars! I get spices from a company that has jars with black lids. Where they sit in my spice cabinet is hard to see the labels so I used the while pen to write the contents on top! I thought it would be hard to write with a paint pen, but it couldn't be easier! No...

Excellent
As a teacher, I love these markers and use them all the time. They are so easy to use and get there job done. I am able to write on things with no worries. They don't have a strong odor either. Definitely will be buying more.
