It’s toner.
I’m not sure how to review a toner cartridge. I’m not sure why someone would review a toner cartridge. But here it goes. The toner arrived neatly boxed in original Brother packaging. Once removed, it was vacuum sealed in a shiny foil package. Removal from the foil was a beeeze. Just tear and remove. Plastic safety tab was just as easy to remove. Insertion into the print...

Printer will not locate new toner
Purchased new toner printer will not find it. I tried the rest but does not work

HY a must
If you are like me and print infrequently not only is a laser printer the best compared to ink printer but high yield toner is the only way to go since it lasts well over a year. The quality never changes from inserting a brand new toner the last print job

This one fine so far, previous 2 leaked with age
We've used this type of toner for 6+ years in our multifunction machine. We are very happy with the machine and the toners, but have had a problem with yellow. More important than the product was the service I received from Steven. It was his help that allowed me to fix my printer. I could not get help from Brother tech department but Steven was able to suggest a remedy that solved the problem.

When remanufactured equals waste
Okay, I will admit - I tried a remanufactured cartridge. The lower price was too good to resist.
And a few months in (I don't print much yellow), the cartridge failed and started dumping yellow toner around the inside of the printer and on the printouts.

Brother laser jet ink cartridges
I have always recognized the inflated cost of OEM ink cartridges and have attempted to find a lower cost alternative. Staples offers an alternative. BE WARNED, all four color cartridges either failed to print cleanly or the ink exploded in the machine leaving a mess to clean up. I been using this ink for the last 4 years and works perfect. I last longer. Although I have to say that the carthinge still keep a good chunk of ink after the cartridge is over. I guess that's part of the manufacture business does to force us to consume more.

Staples in Swampscott MA is great. Always helpful staff, neat, organized store make running in and out a snap. We own a business and homeschool so office supplies are in great demand in our family. Last week one of my teens picked up the wrong printer ink, staples took ithe opened product back, no questions asked. Thanks for making my life a little less stressful!
