Ferret-proof
Did you buy cheap vinyl flex duct during the covid-19 lockdown for a ferret habitrail and your ferrets made their own exit holes whenever and wherever they wanted? Deflecto's corrugated aluminum flex duct is the answer! "Ain't no ferret clawing out the side of this!" - probably a quote from the founder of Deflecto.

It constantly breaks and is extremely difficult to stretch out.
8ft max but used for 4-5 ft only because it breaks and doesn't stretch out.

As expected
It's as expected. Not very robust but that is normal. I didn't appreciate the staples that were placed in the flex as it damaged it though that's probably not uncommon.

It does not rip, but you need 2 people pulling carefully
Ordered several and bought connectors for them at Home Depot. If you have 2 people, one on each end holding it and pulling, it will not rip and it will extend to 8 ft.
Same quality stuff selling at Home Depot for $17.

duct is low quality
this duct pulls apart much too easily. Mine separated in the middle when I was just stretching it out. Cheap price = cheap quality. Spend more and get something better.

Easy to use dryer duct.
This flexible duct makes installing a dryer duct in tight places easy . You can bend it to fit,it is light weight, strong and fire restraint. Allows you to go over and around objects without buying additional parts. Has good air flow to allow your dryer to vent properly.
