High preforming work gear!!
I have purchased and tested the GloWear 8384 hi-viz winter quilted parka- Type R, Class 3 twice now in the past 6 years.
These jackets are highly durable, visible, retain a high degree of retroreflextivity through a numerous amount of wash loads and intense work load.
Stains at times are difficult to remove, stitching is accurate and highly durable.

Parka zipper issue
I purchased the parka, zipper needs to be a 2 way zipper so you can unzip the bottom part so the jacket doesn’t bind. Also the jacket runs large compared to my other jackets.

Response from Staples :
Thank you for your feedback. We will keep your recommended zipper design in mind for future development. We designed this jacket to have an oversized fit to accommodate layering underneath.

Not as Warm
I thought, based upon your specifications, it would be a warmer jacket. The chest and back area have the nice insulation, but the arms have ordinary knitted nylon type? My arms are very cold even on warmer (20-30 degree) days. I expected the entire jacket to be fitted with the better insulation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn many jackets over the years but recently I was in need of a Hi-Vis version and my favorites don't come in GloWear Lime Green. As such, I stopped by our local tool supplier and found they had this parka available along with several other Ergodyne offerings so I purchased it and a couple other items to try. T...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great jacket! Perfect for Central New York winters. Good fit VERY warm. Wore it while clearing out fire hydrants at below zero temps and was sweating so I couldn't keep it zipped all the way . Especially like the length. it does not ride up when you bend over.
