Great garage beer fridge.
I've had this for over 6 years and it's keeping barrel aged beers at 43F all that time, out in the garage, with never a problem. I originally had the 85qt size and I bought this one after the 85qt had been running for over a year. Both are still going strong.

Takes a beating and keeps cooling
Bought 2 of these back in 2020 and had them in my box truck running 24/7 up until 2021 when we were involved in a serious accident totaling our truck. It wrecked a cheaper fridge but these came out with some dents and beauty marks but runs like when we purchased them. Cools extremly quickly when using the fast freeze function. Love the 12v auto switch when the ac power ...

Cool Refrigerator
So our new Whynter 65 quart freezer/refrigerator has passed our second test, this time camping in 97°+ weather for 3 days. We set the temperature at 28°F and it maintained an inside temp 30-31°F, with very frequent opening and closing of the lid, in a un-airconditioned camper.

Great fridge, good price, couple issues.
I bought this 65qt fridge freezer 3 years ago and have driven with it all over the USA. With the addition of the bag for extra insulation it would keep food perfectly cold! For the money it was a great fridge. The only complaints over long term are this: 1) the plastic coated baskets are not durable enough the coating cracks and rust seeps out into the fridge. 2) the sa...

Awesome Fridge/ Freezer
I normally don't do reviews, but the longer I have used this in the freezer position the more impressed I become. I have attached a photo; sensor 1 is the house refrigerator/freezer; sensor 2 is the FM-65G. I am using it as a freezer. The freezer on sensor 1; the door is not normally opened or closed during the day, but it radically changes from the photo from maximum a...

Love My Freezer for 6 years now
I love it worked great. I want it back working but I cannot find anyone on the whynter support site to talk to about why it is not freezing or cool anymore. It turns on but does not cool. Just want to get it fixed.

Excellent freezer
Placed cooler in “basement” area of our 5th wheel trailer. Plugged it in to both an electric plug and the battery. Bought a “cigarette lighter type” end, and attached it to wires coming out of battery to other places (lights, etc). When we were plugged in at campsite, freezer ran off electric, and when driving freezer ran off battery. Freezer maintained a 0-3 degree...

This level of convenience is priceless
6 months into ownership and quite a bit of uses for camping adventures and even daily use. Fast Freeze function is a greatly appreciated feature and just adds to the convenience. The surprise use was a few trips to get groceries and getting a call that would take us 2 hours off schedule. We were able to put or frozen foods in this unit and handle our business for the da...

I love it!
I’ve had my Whynter for about 15 months. Last year I lived at an RV Park for 3 months in central California, where temperatures reached 100+ degree temps. I had the fridge connected to a secondary battery during the day when I was at work and then AC power when I got back to camp. A couple times my battery died and my fridge wasn’t being powered. Usually only for a c...

Best thing ever!
I bought this back in February and couldn't wait to use it. Awesomesauce!!! Got to test it out this 4th and all my camper buddies are now in the market to purchase. Need I say more. My sister's trailer fridge went out and I still had enough room to store her meats. Love it.

After using the FM-65 for one and half years...
...it started to have a cooling problem.I emailed Whynter. Amber R. contacted me and answered all my questions, she was awesome. Shes aid I could ship it or deliver it to them in Brea, CA. I took it to them and two days later Amber R. told me it was ready. Whynter has great products and stands behind them. I would tell my fellow campers to buy Whynter. It is a name you ...

Never buy Ice again!!
I have 200 watts of solar panels, 2 AGM batteries 210 /ah, and other 12volt stuff. I wanted a solution to the messy ice situation campng etc. I decided on this unit because of the dimensions and power consumption which is about 30 watt hours averaging in the heat in the summer. I purchased this unit April of 2017 and it has been running ever since with no problems. I ke...
