These were not easy to find!
This particular size envelope is not easily acquired. Part of the problem is that it’s not commonly used (except by businesses, and usually with windows in them) and even though it’s officially a no. 8 envelope, it was not identified that way anywhere I looked (while, for instance, nos. 9, 10, and 11 are clearly marked). Staples Business Envelope
This envelope size is basically useless. First I have always folded an 8 1/2 x 11 paper in thirds but this envelope is so small you need to fold it in 4 parts. The width of the envelope is supposed to be 8 5/8 which I thought would be fine but the outside dimensions are actually 8 9/16 so a piece of 8 1/2 paper won’t fit inside.
