does the job
its a little bit cheaper made than i thought i was going to be, and its an actual plug in, not a USB port, for the charger hook up, but no big deal. It does the job.

Practical lamp
I bought it for my daughter's new desk, very nice practical, old fashion lamp, I love that it has a plag and school supplies compartments.

This was given as a gift, so I’m not sure of its operation. But, it appears to be a mice quality, with some convenient features, to include a charging socket.
