Works great in older printer
I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 that does not have the updated software and this cartridge works fine. The printer knows that it is not a genuine HP cartridge, but it doesn't seem to care.

Is NOT compatible with HP Officejet Pro 7740
The HP Officejet Pro 7740 in my office will not work with the refurbished cartridges, as it must have the HP microchip to function properly. There is no way around the firmware block in the newer printers. HP has changed their printers, so you can only use HP cartridges. At least for the model here. I had to return the STAPLES Refurb.

Do not purchase these!
This remanufactured ink will not work in my HP printer. And when I tried to return it, I get a message that it is not eligible for return.

tru red brand
it is terrible. second time in a row trying. now returning all. after loading all we get is error codes. we are back to using the hp brand.

Great price, but it didn't work.
HP printer did recognize the ink cartridge and it didn't work on my printer. Based on the other reviews it looks as it's a hit or miss. The price is way lower than the HP ones, but it did work for me.

Not a good product
Product did not work on all printers it was designed for. Plus lots of ink leakage. We will not be buying this product again.

MY PRINTER DIDN'T LIKE IT
I'm considering returning my unused cartridges. When I inserted one in my printer it stated that it wouldn't work as well as original HP products.
