Excellent Fire Extinguisher
I bought this high-quality fire extinguisher for my 1984 Jeep CJ-7. Unlike other reviewers, I had no issues fastening the strap. I would buy this model again.

Put out a grill fire from a cracked propane line!
I bought this extinguisher a few years ago, never mounted it, just threw it under the kitchen sink for easy access. This spring we switched out the propane tank on our grill. Strap is bad
Needs to have a longer strap to go around the extinguisher. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Kidde has to know of this issue but I guess they are choosing not to fix the problem.

Bad bracket
I purchased a two pack of this extinguisher. Like others have commented, the bracket strap is impossible to snap. I broke one of them. I've called Kidde and they are supposed to be sending me a new one. Hopefully, they have corrected this problem. You shouldn't have to struggle that hard to close it. Strap broke during install
As others have mentioned in the reviews, the strap is crap! Great fire extinguisher but the strap on the mounting bracket is made VERY cheap considering the force needed to strap and secure the extinguisher.

2 Fire Extinguishers
They arrived in good shape shortly after I ordered them. Needless to
say, they look fine and have been installed. Let's hope I don't have to
use them any time soon, but feel good that I now have new ones

Fire extinguisher for home
Everything went well. I couldn't find any indication of expiration date, or how I can check whether the bottle is in good condition or not (other that the pressure gage). If it is bad or on the red zone, is there any place where I can refill?

Replaced a used unit
It is much smaller than the extinguisher we were replacing. Cannot get the strap to snap or close around the unit when mounted on the wall.

Extra Protection
Nearly everyone has a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. This one was purchased to be kept in the linen closet between the bedrooms in the other part of the house. easily understood instructions.

Good fire extinguisher - Terrible retaining strap
It is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to secure the fire extinguisher in its wall mount. The strap requires a large amount of force in order to lock it into place. I wound up heating the strap with a hair dryer to have it expand slightly to complete the attachment.
A better design is needed!!!!!
