Epson XP-6000 printer and 302 inks
I am a loyal, repeat customer of Epson printers. However, this one is killing me! Overall, I am sorely disappointed by both the machine and the inks. The printer (XP-6000) has an annoyingly cumbersome control panel that isn't intuitive at all. And as for the 302 inks - to say they disappoint is an understatement. The product is great, the help at the store was excellent, the length of time it took me to get it was far too long, more than a week. The shipper put a nonfragile, 6" x 4" printer cartridge box in a 20" X 12" X 5" box with 2 air bubbles. This box was big enough to ship a case of printer cartridges in.

The costly printer ink
Printer ink is the gimmick. Printer cost is relatively reasonable, but inks are used so quickly. Inks costs have always been high and continue to be so. I remember typewriter ribbons lasted forever.
