Easy setup, looks great, so far so good

I had seen reviews saying these stopped functioning properly but didnt think it would happen to me.
The power went out and quickly came back at my house. Heard a pop then a solid beep coming from this UPS. Screen showed error F02 and there was the classic "burnt electronics" smell.
I have my Synology NAS hooked up to this... not something you want happening.

if it works as good as my old ones i'm set.
It's hard to write a reveiw for items like this since they go a while without needing them until the power fails. However, I have multiple APC Battery backups that perform very well. This one is going on our server and I needed a little larger unit to run longer.

Don't like web based software.
Seems to be working fine; however, I don't like the new web based software, which required a login every time I want to see the status of the unit.

Love the display!
So far so good, I love the display that lets me know how much of a load and where the battery level is! Enough plugs with some to spare, at least for my set up!

Works Great
We were having issues with short power outages shutting down a couple of servers in the office. This UPS has enough storage to ride through ~20 minutes with the servers and networking equipment (router, etc.) attached. I pulled the input power plug as a test and everything continued smoothly. The setup is easy, and the associated application is good enough.

APC Continues to Amaze Me
I bought 3 of these and they are life savers in protecting all my expensive PC's. They give you a lot of run-time in case of power outages which we get in this area at least once a month. I will definitely buy more of these if I need.

UPS Working; internal plastic parts broken
The package was not very well protected and the battery was loose causing internal plastic parts that secure the battery cover to break into pieces. Had to tape the battery cover to hold it in place.
Bought a 1000VA UPS from another supplier and this one was very well packaged. No broken parts

The only thing that I find annoying is the green backlit power button. It should be the same as the screen and turn off as the display does. If I had seen this odd feature in the store, I would not have bought it. It appears to be a design oversight.
