Great book light
Reasonably priced. Bright light. Lasts a long time if your wife doesn't break it. ( Had the last one for 5 years before it got broken.)

Fine for hard-cover, but
Nice bright light, but the fact that it needs three batteries in the base makes it too heavy for paperback books, which constitute about 3/4 of my reading. The adjustability of the neck is a very good feature, since books come in various sizes.

Not very bright
Good only if attached to a page and then it is not very bright. Not bright enough to attach to bed over shoulder

Just not bright enough.
I wanted my little light to go immediately above my desk keyboard area. It simply was not bright enough. Size wise it was perfect. It fit right where I wanted. If you want a book light its perfect. Not good for desk area.
