Uneven coating messy exploded.
The oil exploded as the packet went through. It was very messy and did not evenly coat the cutting blades across the width of the slot.

Always Have Shredder Lube
You have to have a lubricant in your shredder gears. You can use 1/2 page at a time if you want. You out the paper into the shredding gears then you just go backwards & forwards til you use up 1/2 page. Pull out the half shredded paper after 4 or 5 passes. Makes the lube paper go further.

What I Was Looking For
I wanted to clean my shredder without the mess of oil. These sheets are easy to use and doesn't leave a mess. If you use your shredder a lot, you should use two sheets.

Recycling paper lubricant sheets by tru red
I really like the sheets but it doesn’t specify whether you are to peel them apart or not. I peeled them so the oil was exposed and put each side of the sheet in the shredder. I guess i didn’t quite understand the directions and don’t know if I did it right or not.
