I get maybe a few hundred prints
I purchased two of these printers for my office and I’ve had to replace these toner cartridges after a few hundred prints at most. I think it’s too convenient that brother claims up to* 2,300 prints when in regular use we’re averaging 20% of what’s claimed. I bought these printers hoping to save money in the long term and may now have to replace them.

Do alot of labels for home based business. My new ink makes a huge difference, clear image as soon as new cartridge was installed.

It works for now.
So I just replaced a high yield toner cartridge that was still mostly full with this because the chip on it just stopped being recognized by the printer after about a year (no I don't print often).
Nothing like spending money to replace something that should not have to be replaced but why should I expect things these days to last.

I am fine with it, however, I am very disappointed that Staples no longer carries the high yield choice of black ink cartridge. And they didn’t even have the normal one in stock. I had to order it online and wait for it to come in.

Please don’t buy this Printer
We bought this printer during the pandemic and surprisingly it was going well. Until about 8 months ago. It will not reconnect to my husbands computer no matter what we or Brothers tech team do.
