I get maybe a few hundred prints
I purchased two of these printers for my office and I’ve had to replace these toner cartridges after a few hundred prints at most. I think it’s too convenient that brother claims up to* 2,300 prints when in regular use we’re averaging 20% of what’s claimed. I bought these printers hoping to save money in the long term and may now have to replace them.

I haven’t opened them yet. The problem with this printer is if one color goes out the printer stops printing so I got backups. Brother was out of one color so I ordered from you.

Cartridges don't last as long as my previous fax/copy/scanner. Expensive due to the size of the cartridge.

Computer chip in cartridge causes problems
Whenever I print something in color, even if I do not use this specific color, the Brother toner cartridge counts the page against the total number of pages that I can print using this cartridge. Thus, when this cartridge decides it has "run out" of toner, the truth is that it is still mostly full of this specific color. And there is no way to reset the internal counter...

Cost question
I think all the toner colors work great and look beautiful, but why is it when you add up the cost to replace them all, it's the cost of buying a new printer?

Magenta Color Toner Cartridge
Since I just received this printer, I have not had a chance to really try this out. So far it looks like what I was wanting. However, I have not used it enough to really give this an evaluation. I think that it will be great, but no real experience yet.
