I get maybe a few hundred prints
I purchased two of these printers for my office and Iāve had to replace these toner cartridges after a few hundred prints at most. I think itās too convenient that brother claims up to* 2,300 prints when in regular use weāre averaging 20% of whatās claimed. I bought these printers hoping to save money in the long term and may now have to replace them.

Printer Toner Cartridge
This is the lower yield cartridge. Expensive to replace but lasts much longer than ink jet printer cartridges from past printers. Works very well. Easy to change out in printer.

Discount help
I did not know about the matching price discount. I had been comparing prices on my phone and the clerk kindly asked if I wanted to do a lower price match. I did not know Staples did that so I said yes. It saved me $20!

Had to buy this instead of High Yield TN-227
I wish there was option to purchase High Yield Toners TN-227 for the 3 primary colors (Y, C & M). Currently only Black color toners are available at Staples under TN-227.

Easy enough if you read -- great color
At first blush, the instructions look intimidating. After reading them, though (second blush) it's easy and quick to change the toner cartridges. Nice to have color (really GOOD color) for a while and not have to worry about it.

Compatible but costly
it seems Brother is making sure off brand ink doesn't work in their printers so this worked fine. Unfortunately, it is so much more costly than I would actually like to pay for ink.

Faulty toner good service
The Brother yellow toner cartridge was faulty and would not connect with my printer. I called the Staples store and the company representative said to bring it back. I did and was simply able to exchange the faulty one with one that worked. I appreciate the ease making the exchange.
