Maybe 500 pages…not 3000
The first one that came with the printer was packaged differently and printed for me for a year at least. This one lasted a month. This is terrible quality. Do not purchase!

I will not be ordering these from Staples ever again!!! I ordered two of these and one lasted 2 weeks and the other not even a week. We are lucky if we got 300 copies from them. It was harder to set up than it states and we have had nothing but problems since we bought it. I will never buy another Lexmark.

Works!
Staples had a bit of a mix up with my shipment but were quick to get it sorted out. Would definitely recommend this product since it states it should be printing around 3000 pages on one toner cartridge which is pretty good.

Lexmark B2442
Unlike previous printers my current printer (Lexmark B2442) counts the number of pages that the cartridge prints and when it reaches 3 000 pages the printer stops. With previous Lexmark printers you could shake the cartridge to get many more pages. Now I need to always have a spare cartridge available.

Austin (at Staples) told me that the printer cartridge had to be ordered because it wasnt kept in the store. I paid quite a bit to have it delivered to my school (I'm a teacher) the next day. I have to personally pay for supplies for my school printer but I really needed it quick. And it came the next day. I paid a lot for the printer cartridge but was very pleased ...

Less lifespan than I thought
Great quality printing however the cartridge lasted only a month in our small practice. The previous Lexmark's toner cartridge would last 6 months. I tried to see if there was a larger toner capacity to select however there isn't.
