Personal shredder
My business Fellowes shredder died last week. Since retiring I do not need a business shredder. This model does same type shredding with less pages. It is quiet and easy to remove bin to empty. I got a great deal at Staples as well.

Great Home Shredder
The Fellowes 12C Shredder serves my purposes well. It shreds efficiently. Functions as designed too. I have not encountered any issues with this product. Hopefully, it will last me nearly a decade like its predecessor did.

This is my third Fellowes i think the last ones was 15 years old. Very reliable and easy to use. Oil once in a while and will last a long time.

Needs more shredding power
Nice printer EZ setup looks good. But I’m a bit underwhelmed by the destructive power. It bogs down on big envelopes filled with paper. I’m afraid to do a credit card. Routine one to door or five sheet spreading is fine BUT .. it could be faster. It’s kind of slow. But I had a great purchasing experience at Staples. Friendly manager and the other employees as well.

Hi Robert. Thank you for sharing your experience! Please make sure you check the contents of the envelope to ensure the folded documents are not exceeding the sheet capacity. for example one letter size document folded twice with the envelope is 5 sheet thickness. This can add up quickly. In addition ensure there are no adhesive labels in the envelope. Lastly we do not recommend shredding envelopes with plastic windows. Additionally please note the oiling recommendation. The blades should be oiled with Fellowes shredder oil every time the basket is emptied. This maximizes performance and extends shredder life. On sale as it was an outdated older machine Stoped making these in 2022 so it is new but several years in a warehouse Got excellent price on it and it works very well No warranty as it has expired according to Fellows old machine with no guarantee
