Great Compact Crosscut Shredder
My old shredder died the other day and I was looking for a replacement. Don't buy!
Horrible machine. Worked great about 6 times. After that, nothing. Nothing is jammed and yet blades won't move. There is power to machine, but that's about it.

Needs more shredding power
Nice printer, EZ setup, looks good. But I’m a bit underwhelmed by the destructive power. It bogs down on big envelopes filled with paper. I’m afraid to do a credit card. Routine one to door or five sheet spreading is fine BUT .. it could be faster. It’s kind of slow. But I had a great purchasing experience at Staples. Friendly manager and the other employees as well.

On sale as it was an outdated older machine
Stoped making these in 2022 so it is new but several years in a warehouse
Got excellent price on it and it works very well

cross cut shredder
This is new, as of this writing, and has not gotten a lot of use yet. I like the fact it has casters and it's not too noisy when in operation. The basket is a generous size. I was happy to receive prompt attention and the purchase went smoothly.

Not quite as strong as my last fellowes shredder.
This shredder is not quite as strong as my last Fellowes shredder. It tends to accumulate more shreds at the outlet which is not good. It seems to bog down when only 3 or 4sheets at a time.

So far, so good. But I haven't really used it all that much. I've only shredded about 60 pages of paper. One thing that I would say is that the part of the unit that is under the heavier shredder seems to be very flimsy, and you have to be very careful when taking out the shredded paper and putting everything back together.

Excellent Product
I bought this to replace previous Fellowes Shredder, of similar size, which finally gave up after 15 years plus of first rate service. My immediate experience of this "12-C" is that it will give the same, if not better, long-term service.

Working well...so far!
Just got my shredder yesterday to replace another brand shredder. Chose Fellowes because of their credibility in the business sector. I am retired now but used their products previously. Flimsy base, hard to set up
Much flimsier thin plastic base and pull out bin. Very difficult to snap the top onto the base (badly cut my finger and needed to return to store to have them snap the top on the base. Now seems to work OK but have only done a trial shred.

Great Shredder for Home Office
I just purchased the shredder and it's performance exceeds my expectations. I also like the smaller width as it fits perfectly in the small office space. Its construction appears to be solid & there are safety features, so I would recommend this product.
