good radio
I am quite satisfied with this radio. It seems better quality than my previous radio, which finally absolutely did not work. The Pansonic radio is easy to turn on and off, easy to choose FM or AM and easy to tune. I like the size - not too big, not too small.

One star because one of the main purposes for purchasing it was to have a working radio during a power outage. We had an outage soon after my purchase and I put in the proper batteries. The radio worked for about 15 minutes and quit, nothing. In case it was a battery issue I put in four different new batteries. Same result. It would come on and off for a spell and ...

It is good for short distances, but I can’t get my classical station in Boston. I will keep trying. It will be good when power goes out to get local messages. Very compact and durable for outdoor use.

Not satisfied
radio only functions on a direct power from outlet. It does not function at all on batteries. Changed AA batteries several times with same nonperformance.

The original order was lost in delivery. The second order was finally delivered but only operated fully for one week. It will now only function when plugged in and not on the batteries alone. It was purchased to be a portable radio but does not function as such.

I haven't tried it yet. this is a gift for my elderdly father who is non-tech savvy. I did want to make note that it was shipped in a bubble envelope, which I thought was not right. I inspected the item box and so far it seems fine, but I would have expected a shipping box!

Not A Good Value
Panasonic used to be known for quality electronics. When you buy an AM/FM radio, you expect a decent tuner to pull in stations. This product does not have one. It is easy to use, but it doesn't do much.
