It was fabulous.
I really like it. It is very easy to use. It's fast and can take up to 11 sheets which is nice when you have a lot of papers to shred. It's also quiet.

When it works it works ok; then it jams.
The forward shredding is fine. But if you switch it to reverse (easily done accidently with the simple switch) it immediately jams. I've had to clean out the feed slot several times (with a small screwdriver). I have been close to returning it twice in the first week. Too bad -- otherwise seems to be fine.

It's a fair product
I do prefer a Fellowes product, though I'm not thrilled with this model. It's not nearly as quiet as the one it replaces, which was 10 years old. And it's a cross cut, not a micro cut. But it will serve it's purpose for the job I need done. Reasonably priced.

Too small for our office use
I'm sure this is a fine shredder but the small 4.8 gallon size would not work for us. I returned it and purchased a larger 6.1 gallon unit.

Poor design and cheap build
My shredder packed up and I took it apart to see what the problem is. I discovered that the switch has broken because it just sits in a sort of cube the walls of which are 1mm thick plastic!!!! So all it takes is to move the switch hard enough to break the plastic and your shredder no longer works. Really poor design and very cheap build.In the pics you can see the plas...

Terrible
Used twice quit working! Hopefully going to be able to get warranty replacement. Used twice and will not shred. Paper will not feed through. Motor only runs on the forward setting.

Best yet
I have had a Fellows shredder since 1998 it just gave up up the ghost after years of service. I just replaced it with the 11c model, this unit is has more power and quiet. The ease of use is great! you have made it more compact and faster!! Im looking for this to last as many years as my last one its now 2021. durable as all get out!!!!
