Rollerball pen ink bleeds through the thin pages of this product
The paper quality isn’t detailed enough on the product page. A regular pencil or ball point pen will work OK, but a rollerball pen bleeds through. This makes it absolutely unusable.

Nice durable notebook
I purchased this notebook as logbook for a new automobile - I record fuel fill (gas mileage) and maintenance activities. I like the graph paper format which makes it easy to enter information in columns and I like its durable construction. It does not have a place to keep a pen or pencil - I wish it did, if so, it would have gotten 5-stars.

The calendar on the inside of the front page only went through the 2020 year - obviously an outdated product - store manager acted promptly to credit back the charge - but the fact that outdated merchandise was put on retail shelves and not in the clearance area is why the one star rating was given. Used to be good but the paper is now TERRIBLE
I started a bullet journal practice in the fall of 2020. In the winter of 2021 I got one of these Tru Red notebooks and loved it, comfortable size, simple, good price. Graph Paper for the Win
I find the graph paper easier to make my log better. The spacing allows easy writing in column format and written lists much easier to record. The book is well made and sturdy with a hard enough cover to open and write in when holding.
