While many consumers have embraced the new fragrance, we recognize that some long-time users, like yourself, have expressed disappointment in losing the original scent. In response to this feedback, we are excited to share that we will be reintroducing the Classic Scent as an additional option in our Dawn Ultra lineup. We know how important it is to have a scent you love when it comes to washing dishes, and we're very sorry to hear about your experience. All our products go through stringent tests and evaluations to ensure they are safe and effective when used as directed, so this is not something we’d expect to happen. If you haven’t already, please discontinue using the dish soap and set it aside in case we need more information. The scent of Dawn Ultra was changed after receiving positive feedback during extensive testing with consumers. This is the first scent change for Dawn Ultra Original in over 10 years. We understand that this change may be disappointing for some consumers, and we truly value your feedback, as it’s instrumental in guiding our team as we continue to work on future innovations. To help remove the scent, we recommend soaking the dishes in hot water with some distilled vinegar added to it. If you choose to wash the dishes in the dishwasher, pour some vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher, along with some vinegar directly into the dispenser. We offer a variety of scents, and even an Unscented version of Dawn in an E-Z Squeeze bottle, and we'd love to help find a version you'll love.
