Given that the packaging did not perform as designed, the product may returned to the point of purchase (DAP will issue a credit to the retailer for the returned item) or alternately, the product (with proof of purchase) can be returned directly to DAP for a refund of your purchase price. KWIK SEAL PLUS, as with all acrylic-latex (water-based) formulas, dry solely by the evaporation of water. Thick (deep) applications, applications subject to lower temperatures/higher humidity, damp/wet application surfaces and/or application areas with poor air circulation will dry at significantly slower rates. Until the product has properly dried, water resistance will not be fully developed. For reference, DAP Kwik Seal Plus offers a CRACK PROOF GUARANTEE: DAP warrants that this product will not mildew, crack, peel or separate when used as directed within one year of purchase. If product fails to perform when used as directed, within one year of date of purchase, call 888-DAP-TIPS, with your sales receipt and product container available, for replacement product or sales price refund. DAP Products Inc. will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
