Don't believe it when it says it won't shrink!
It certainly does, in all but the tiniest crack!
I had several cracks in my ceiling that I gouged out to approx 1/8 in. to loosen any of the old spackling. In 80% of the cracks I have to re-do because this product shrank terribly.

As is the case with all water-based (Ready Mixed/Ready To Use) compounds, volume loss will occur as the product dries/water evaporates. This is normal characteristic for a water-based formula. What I recommend
( Alex Plus Spackling ) This is a good product for small jobs such as nail holes , small cracks etc but I don't recommend for larger jobs .

Fantastic quality!
I have used other products from this brand before, so I was excited to try this spackling. It arrived just in time for my latest remodeling project. I had a couple of spots in the drywall that needed repaired before painting, so I gave it a try. It was quick and easy to apply to the wall. I love easily accessible products that make jobs faster and more efficient. I keep this spackling handy when I need to fill in holes, from previously hung pictures and home decor and this stuff does the job. Improvement from latter products
i've used spackle multiple times in the past and i do like that this one is in a very convenient tube it made it a whole lote easier to get into small places obviously you wouldn't use on larger areas but i thought this was very nice size-7oz squeeze tube. This is the real deal!
The Alex Plus Spackle (7oz squeeze tube) works great on walls. I used this to cover up my hallway wall that had a minor hole it in. Quick and easy fix
I had a number of dinks in some walls that needed to be fixed, but needed to fill those holes before repainting. This worked perfectly! Just squeezed it out, laided it on, sanded and done. Excellent spackle for all of your drywall projects.
I got the DAP ALEX PLUS SPACKLING in the 7 FL. OZ. squeeze tube applicator so I could fill in some drywall cracks and drywall peeling on my house walls. DAP ALEX PLUS is simply an incredible product. I really like this product and would definitely recommend!
Using this product from the very first time, the results were simply incredible. I was able to cover of a couple of holes/cracks which have accumulated over the years on my walls. Easy to work with, great product
This dried a bit harder than other products I've used in the past, but that's a definite plus for me - better to sand slowly and get the perfect finish I want before painting. Holds up well, strong.

i would to buy this product again
I used to cover old holes in my den and fix it up like my bedroom with repairing small patches from old clips on my bed room wall and make it seem like new. I am thankful that I was given an opportunity to try this product and the results it gave me.

easy to use and works well
I used the alex plus spackling to repair all of the holes in my walls. It was easy to apply and dried well. After sanding the wall and painting it looks like it never had any damage. I will be using this brand in the future.

Alex Plus spackling lives up to it's name in a big way!
I used Alex Plus Spackling to repair a hole in my wall from a bolt I put in and then later removed. The tube spackling was perfect for this since I could easily squeeze the correct amount of spackling in the hole and it did not drip or smudge. Then when I painted it the end result was perfect.
