I've been using this brand for a few years now. When I converted a small barn to a shop the ceiling was covered in galvanized roof metal. The Dap #230 I purchased at the lumber yard was used to fill the gaps along where the wall an ceiling meet. It sealed and adheres to the different material very good.

Best product for many uses
This product is exceptionally easy to place and shape quickly and evenly. It dries without unexpected shrinkage or sagging; it has replaced most situations where I would have used pure silicone previously. Fantastic, better than Alex caulking.
Since discovering this product we have switched almost exclusively to Dynaflex 230. As professional cabinetmakers we use dozens of tubes in a year to finish our work to walls and floors. THIS HAS TO BE THE SORRIEST SEALANT I HAVE EVER PURCHACED,
I HAVE A 24X36 METAL BUILDING, USED 230 BETWEEN THE CONCRETE AND THE BUILDING, TOOK 6 TUBES, 2 WEEKS LATER WE HAD A RAIN, 230 WASHED AWAY, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE

Flexible and Easy to Work With
This is used by many contractors and maintains flexibility so it won’t crack. Hard to find this particular color so I was glad to find it at Staples.

Difficult to rebuy same color
Aluminum Gray color is great, but newer Gray is lighter (and has dropped the Aluminum in the name). Is the darker Gray available? Model 18286 for DAP DYNAFLEX 230 for Windows/Doors.

I will buy this product again and again!
Use a spatula or just a wet finger. The 230 clear is very easy to use and much lighter than other acrylic sealers. It takes a while to cure but its worth the wait. After 3 years the sealant around my front door (outside) is still crystal clear. Fills joints up 10mm easily, but for thicker joints its best to build up layers then apply a smooth final coat.

RAIN WHEN YOU DON"T WANT IT!!!
I spent a couple of hours sealing an old semi-trailer, it was a warm clear day. The 230 caulk went on very smooth and easy to handle. After a couple of tubes I was getting pretty good at applying it. Product Failed after 8 months in the elements
This product was used on a window installation job. Call backs are not good for any contractor, especially when the product doesn't have a life span greater than a year.

UGLY is the "Yellowing" of white dynaflex 3-6 mos. later....
My only complaint really is that the white starts to Yellow turning yellow in as little as six months after application. Meaning the product definitely has to be painted in order to achieve desired appearance from unsightly pigment discoloring.

Dynaflex 230 White
I use Dynaflex 230 on all exterior applications because it's waterproof, flexible, easy to work with and cleans up easily. Some people complain about it being messy just remember to cut the tip accordingly to the size of the gap you need to fill.

Great sealant! I will buy this again.
This Dynaflex 230 sealant is very easy to use. I used it to reseal several windows in my house and some cabinet trim in a concession trailer. It was easy to control the bead with constant pressure from the caulk gun, and the sealant was smooth. The excess cleaned up very easily with a damp cloth, but you have to do it before it starts to harden or else it is quite diffi...

Keeps Water Out & Looks Good
I used DAP Dynaflex 230 Premium Elastomeric Interior/Exterior Sealant on a exterior door that is in my garage that leaks into the garage. Works great!!
It was so easy to use. After cutting the tip at an angle it goes on so easy. I had never cut at an angle before. Make sure you do this. It makes it so much better to apply. The color is super white and very pretty. It seals great. Easy to clean. No smell. Makes everything look clean and neat.
