It's really black. Too bad it's so expensive but we hafta pay for the electronics with every cartridge.

The Best Printers & Ink
I'm a big fan and endorser of HP printers and products. They are work horses and after years of experience don't trust anything but HP ink. It's pricey but you get what you pay for.

Faulty
The NEW cartridges are faulty. HP has yet to resolve the matter even after my repeated requests that they replace them. Obviously I can’t use the printer!

Neighborhood Office Supply store
I purchased from my local Staples because they have made a great effort in making the store a neighborhood hub of activity. All of the employees there are friendly and talkative.
