Not happy with this buy too many pieces to put it together and also the materials that this is made of is very cheap they started chipping as I was putting it together. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

great little shelf
This shelf is sturdy and the wood grain matches the rest of my furniture. Assembly was easy. I have loaded the shelf up with books and there was no sagging and no squealing. I am super happy with this purchase.

Nice looking bookcase
I took one look at number of tools and steps to assemble and hired a handyman to put together . That was a little disappointing . He did a fine job but that increased cost considerably

Best purchase
This is my second purchase Union & Scale products. The bookcase arrived well packaged to prevent damage in transit Everything was in the box each piece was numbered and the directions were easy to follow. Like all composite furniture it was heavy. The finished piece is a nice addition to my office.

Pay attention to the instructions (Back pieces as well as center divider - make sure the shelf holes match on the left and right)! I had a little hiccup on that - but otherwise a quick and easy assembly. The piece itself is solidly built great quality and worth every dollar. I look forward to using this piece for a long time.
