Excellent for home or small office use
I'm on my third shredder in 20+ years. This is the one I've been looking for! Not only is is quiet, it's efficient and chops up the paper into little bits. That not only is a security plus, it takes up less room in the bag so you can shred a lot more paper than the old single cut ones or cross-cut ones, both of which I've had.

Not What I Expected
Bought this shredder to replace my old workhorse shredder from Office Max that I've had for years (wore it out). This Fellowes shredder is poorly designed, overheats too quickly, creates three times the amount of dust as my old shredder. Peeling stickers but works fine
So far I haven't had any issues using the shredder, but the branding stickers on the front are peeling off. I'm not sure what caused this--it's only been lightly used and it sits under my desk away from anything that could have rubbed the stickers off. It's just an aesthetic issue, but disappointing considering the price. Otherwise, it's stylish and easy enough to use.

Fellows LX200 Review
I haven't had a lot of opportunity to use it yet but so far it has worked well. The small pieces produced are indeed small and thus, good for security. It's pretty quiet. I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't had a lot of time to test it. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3 because it looks well-built, and my gut tells me it has a lot of potential.

efficient paper shredder

Large collection bucket
Our last shredder lasted for 8 years (until a credit card was put in the wrong slot), but all we did was empty the waste bucket. Have only used this shredder a little so far. HUGE collection bucket so it should now always be too full to use.

Great for Home Office
I had a smaller one before and it lasted a long time. I was able to use my empty grocery bags with it. But it finally conked out. I'm liking my Fellowes shredder and it's quiet. I'm glad that it's white and not black because it brighten my office.

Very good shredder
This is a good shredder. The only downfall so far - if you accidentally touch around the outside of where you're feeding the paper it stops shredding instantly. I would say its a little over sensitive. So I've learned to keep my hands away from the top of the machine.

I find it made very flimsy cheap plastic for a Commercial shredder and for the price. I had a Staples commercial shredder that I loved but it was no longer available.

Great Upgrade From My Previous Shredder
Wonderful small cuts. Easy operation. Safety lights to guide use work well. I love the Jam resistance feature. Runs quieter than my previous shredder. The bin is a little hard to empty.

Sleek and quiet
My old shredder finally quit after many years of hard labor.
When the box was delivered I was a little shocked at the size of the box. After opening the box I can say it was well packaged which accounts for the size of the box as the size of shredder itself will fit nicely in a corner under my desk. The white color gives it a more contemporary look and I do like that....

Mini Commercial Shredder LX200
What a disappointment!. From the picture and my last shredder I purchases from Staples,
it was big, it was sturdy, and it ran without a moments' problem until I jammed too much paper into the cutter.
It looks and operates like a toy shredder. For the amount I paid for it, I am totally disgusted.
Don't even think of buying this wacky machine.

Works well so far
Much quieter than my old shredder and the micro cut makes the waste more compact. Has taken whatever I’ve shoved into it and let’s me know if I’m pushing the limit with it’s light bar thing. Oiling is an unexpected task, but canola oil is cheap and it came with a dispenser. My only complaint would be that the bin doesn’t have a real good way to keep a bag in place. ...

While shopping/purchasing this shredder, I was concerned because I did not find many customer reviews. I was influenced somewhat when I read patent pending or other wording that said intelliBar patented responsive technology. I figured/hoped that meant it was something special. Shredder arrived in one piece. Have not used it on any big jobs yet but did test it out. Quiet, does the job and shreds paper into confetti. One criticism is figuring out the lights.
