Bad APC UPS
I purchased 2 a few montgs ago. We recently had a power outage. One stayed up for a couple hours for my security. The second UPS failed after 5 minutes. It won't hold a charge. I'm guessing the battery is bad. Please let me know how to get it replaced. Thanks

Very good UPS
This UPS was a replacement for a previous APC that gave me several years of faithful service protecting my wireless router Apple TV and some other equipment related to my A/V setup. excellent easy fast
my 15 year old apc battery suddenly beeped to replace 5 year old battery. that was normal but replacement would not arrive for a week! how could i keep my computers running for a week with no ups? this ups was instock for 1hour pickup however! it is so good i have been using since and no pressures to replace the other battery now.

Looks good works fine
Charged it then decided what to plug in where. Easy set up. If you look for the parachute software to monitor the UPS it is no longer available on the Schneider/APC website. You have to do monkey flips to try get to then download its replacement on the Schneider website. Good luck.

Quiet and works perfect
I use it for my CPAP as a power backup. It is quiet and when the power goes off it kicks on and prevents uninterrupted power.

Great replacement for my aging APC Back-Ups
I've been using APC Back-Ups since 1995 since we had threats of brown outs.. My second unit was purchased in 2005 and replaced battery once. Rather than replacing battery for the second time I decided it was time to replace with this newer model. I actually have a standby generator so I only lose power for 10 seconds but I don't want to lose power for even 1 second.

Easy setup effective display
Ignore the reviews that stated battery connections are difficult not true unless the user tries to remove the battery instead of properly sliding it out only a few inches. Obviously very heavy because it has a long lasting battery just deal with it. Nice long heavy duty cord secure and easily readable outlets when lit. This has worked well for me so far - mostly got it so when do bios updates for computer in case power went out so computer still works.

Ok but not for large plugs
It is a bit stronger than my previous APC. The problem is that it cannot handle large plugs. I have to buy the little extension cords so I can plug in my speakers and my other transformers. But I expect the UPS to be well worth the money.

UPS-Pro 1050VA Upgrade
I upgraded my home and business from the 550 which we have used for years. The digital display gives me more current information on the health of the unit and that's a plus!
