Great for many ages
I'm about to purchase my third package of geomakers. I have three kiddos (ages 7, 5, and 2.5) that all love playing with these. The older two can both follow the building instructions and ideas on the provided cards, but usually like to build their own creations. For our soon to be three year old of course its all free creation and play, but he has no trouble maneuverin...

Rods break way too easy!
These are very fun and my preschool class really enjoyed them. I bought 2 of these sets around November as a Christmas gift for my class. Unfortunately more than half the rods have ends broken off. My preschoolers are very careful and well behaved. This is a poor design. Would love replacement or money back!

Encourages my 6 years olds to think 3D
These are brilliant for challenging my 2 6 years old girls. They can be hard to push together, even for me as an adult, but I suppose they do need to hold tight.

Poor quality
Our kids loved these. But, the sticks broke off when trying to stick them into the balls. Sometimes the sticks don't stay connected

Flimsy will break
1st rod my son used, immediately broke off in the ball. He was not playing rough, the tips just snap off really easily. He tried use the others but a few more snapped off. They are completely unusable now & my son is sad. Would not recommend.

Cheap!
This kit is so cheap. Pieces started breaking within hours. Can't return it as it was a gift and the broken pieces have been thrown away. Don't waste your money.

8 year old loved it!
My 8-year-old autistic son and 7 year old niece absolutely loved this product. Inside the box was a booklet showing different shapes to make so they were able to go through and replicate what the book was showing. The only downside was one box was not enough for both of them to make everything they wanted. So I would suggest at least a box per child. My four-year-old al...

I would not buy again
Broken pieces not able to be removed. Then you have sharp edges on stick and ball. Maybe different material could be used.

Creative and fun!
It was fun and educational. The kids had to think about what pieces to use and how to build specific things. It can help with learning different shapes in 2D and 3D.
The only bad thing is that the ends that fit into the holes broke pretty easily if you tried to make a shape that the pieces couldn't quite do.

Great stem product!!
This stem toy is great for any age. You can create so many variations of stem creations using imagination and creativity. My girls are different age groups 9&5 and the both enjoyed making things together.

Geomakers
The Stem Geomaker was ok. Kids were for about an hour or so. The cons about this product is that the connecting arms that stick into the balls can break very easy. After about an hour of playing with it kids lost interest. Pros good idea of interactive building

It's great
I think this is a great educational product. My son loved it especially since he had just learned about 3D shapes. He loved making the shapes on his own. But once he'd make all the shapes he became a bit bored with it so he would make Ramos for his hot wheels. I think it's more of an educational manipulative but that's about it.

Fun for kids and adults!
Any toy that exercises creativity is a winner in my book.
Creating shapes and practicing hand eye coordination was also a benefit

Learning resources stem geomakers 3D building challenges
I really enjoyed eating this product. I really like the engineering quality of the product and people of all ages can enjoy this product. The only issue I've had with the product is that it should be more durable because one of the ends broke off into the balls when I took it apart.

Really neat!
This was originally ordered for my kiddos, but when it arrived my niece was here and she wouldn't put the box down. I decided to open it and let her play with it as I was only babysitting her for the day and she played with this pretty much the whole time! I have seen other toys similar to this, but the sticks in the middle are flimsy and don't hold up to building multi...

Junk
I purchased this for a five & seven year old and have regretted ever choosing the toy. In my opinion, it's nothing but worthless junk. You should be ashamed. One day of use and there are too many broken pieces to continue play. Customers, DO NOT buy this product!

Not good quality
I purchased this for my preschool class after looking at it for a few months. I had read that others had trouble with the rods breaking off in the balls, so I made a big deal about being very careful with them with my students. On our first time playing with it, two of the rods broke off in the balls. I don't think my students were being overly harsh with the set, it ju...

Poor quality
Kids loved to create different structures with this set. However, many of the rods have broken in the balls making it unusable. In fact, three broke the very first time they used them.
