Less ink in the cartridge
This original cartridge should print about 1200 pages. I have printed about 600 pages, and it is already showing has in is 'very low'.

Discovered LaserJet Pro M203 also needs 32A cartridge every few years
We’ve had our LaserJet Pro M203dw for years, and always changed the toner cartridge, which is HP30X. When I changed it this time and the printer didn’t work, I went online and found a youtube video that said every so-many-thousand of prints you have to also change the HP32A Drum Unit. I bought that and installed it and my printer works again just fine.
