There’s no way you printed these at home!!!!!!!
Usually, I never have any photos as hard copies because of the hassle to get them printed. I would always have to go the nearest photo development place to get them and that sometimes is a huge hassle. Nowadays, since they’re all digital photos, I don’t feel the need to print them anyway. Remove all protective material inside scanner
I keep getting error message to remove all protective material inside scanner. And checking again. There's nothing there to remove except the ink cartridges. This stinks..

Works better than expected
I give no product or service 5 stars but this Epson comes close. I used it once for an 11 x17 photo on old photo paper the day it arrived. Then it sat unused for 2 years while I used an MFP laser for day to day. I figured at least one head would be no good but had hope that with piezo heads it would be OK. Defective printer
Epson shipped us a defective printer. Since the printer was non functional we returned it. Still waiting for refund.

Broke after one year and minimal use
Had the printer for about a year and then it went out of warranty and died. Called customer service and said it was a hardware error and since it was out of warranty they couldn't do anything. Was getting printer error 000043. After a quick Google search you can see this problem is common to Epson printers.

Good value and nice quality print image
Good value for the money. Easy to setup, vivid colors, very good print quality and good speed. Only thing is I wish it would print on 13 x 19" paper. Like the compact size. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend for those that don't need print image larger than 11 x 17"

Great image quality but several challenging problems
This printer has the capability to print incredible photos with great detail and accurate color. However, it has two significant weaknesses. The first is the ink. It just doesn't last long and is expensive to keep replacing if you plan on doing any sort of volume. Unable to use as intended
Bought this printer to print copies of my paintings to sell. Love the ability to print oversize and on various art papers. But...that's the only good thing I have to say about it. If you are printing full page prints it sucks up ink. Ink cartridges are way too small. Also, I cannot get skin tones, oranges and reds to print correctly. Always too pink! No way to adjust th...

Last of this expression 900 series is I'm very pleased.
I had a expression xp-960 and this xp-970 is better and works faster than the xp-960

Epson is the Best
Epson is the Best I have really appreciated Epson support for many years. Epson is the only printer that I can rely on for great photo printing. When my older Epson photo printer gave out, it was so convenient to go through the Epson store to purchase this Expression Photo XP-079. So far I am really happy with the results. Thanks Epson!
