Gets the job done!
After reading some reviews, I was a bit nervous. But I have now scanned over 300 documents without issue.
Responding to some of the other reviewers criticisms:
Only scans to JPEG files- that is the factory default which you can change under the Machine Scan Settings. Or if you set up a workflow, you can change it in the Save Settings.
Crooked scans - make sure you flip...

very troublesome
bought this scanner with the purpose of getting rid of our over flowing filing cabinet. The size of the scanner itself is nice but the functionality is horrible. No matter how many times you attempt to scan multiple documents you either get some sort of error message, the scanner randomly stops, crooked scans, or like in our case the scanner pulls multiple pages throug...

This is the best scanner i've ever had.
This scanner is very pretty, very demure. It doesn't take up much space and can easily be moved from one location to another. doesn't have a catch tray so make sure you have it some place with room for your documents to land.

GREAT SCANNER
This scanner has made my life so much easier! It is fast and accurate. It also helps with the organization of files with the ability to set up different folders for your scans to be stored. Overall it is a fantastic machine.

Brother is usually Good
Set up temporally to insure it was working, which it was. Did not read all the instructions, so I missed some of the steps in scanning. It seemed to grab the pages and have a crooked scan, even after setting it up for daily use. But have had Brother scanners in the past and I know that I can work out the problems.

Operates poorly
It does not work properly and is very unpredictable as to when it will work. No matter how I try to separate the pages it will scan from 2 to 5 pages at once. I have had to scan items 3 or more times and still ended up walking down the hall to the big printer. This was a waste of money.

Will only last a year
I bought this scanner 1 year ago and in exactly 1 year it stopped scanning properly and is pulling through multiple pages at once. I reported to Brother and they said they can't cover under warranty. Easy Scanning
I like this compact scanner. It works so well, and makes my piles of scanning disappear quickly. Great duplex scanning. Easy to use. Glad I bought it.

I love this little machine.
Very small footprint and excellent price. Really fast scanning and very easy to install and use. Scans two sided and scans photos like a champ. Would definitely recommend this product.

I was impressed with the quality os the scans as well as the speed. We scanned over 8,000 documents without a problem.

Great Value and Compact Design
I was looking for a scanner to replace my All-In-One that was taking up too much room on my physical desktop. I recommend downloading the manual as I did BEFORE buying to avoid surprises. I didn't need a wireless WIFI feature since the scanner would be next to my desktop PC. I also don't need portability but the compact size is ideal. I am surprised that it doesn't ...
