Ruined a great lifetime product.
After 40 years of using Palmolive I bought what I thought was the same stuff as always. It says "Original" on the bottle, right? Immediately my wife says do not buy that ever again! Smells too strong and perfumey! Like water! Switch to Dawn! Which is what I will buy tonight at Ridley's.

Smells like cheap commercial disinfectant
I always get the Pure and Clear soap at the grocery store, but got this one at Home Depot thinking that "essential clean" would mean a "cleaner" product in terms of additives. HD didn't have the one I usually buy, and I had completely run out of dish soap.

Watered down version of the Original.
I think this product is just a watered down version of the original that dates back a few decades. They had to come up with new products and so, watered the original down in order to introduce the Ultra Strength version which was probably the Original version decades ago. There are so few SKU's that you can come up with in this area....so that was one of the few options...

Smell is amazing!!!
The first time I used Palmolive dish soap, I fell in love. First of all, Palmolive moisturizes your hands when you wash the dishes, and second, the smell is AMAZING!!! I'm actually addicted to the smell. And I can go to Dollarama to get Palmolive for a dollar! Please never discontinue!

90% Water 10% Soap
I just bought this, and it's literally water. I can barely control the ammount coming out because it just pours out when you turn it upside down.

Just ok
Now that it's watery it comes out of the bottle much too fast and you end up using more than you need. I find it still works well though.

Consistency of Windex?!?
I was surprised by the consistency of this product. It is very watery and does not "suds up" very well at all. What happened? Is this what it is supposed to be like? Did I get a bad batch?

Who do you think you're fooling? I've been using Palmolive green liquid dish detergent forever. It is actually my entire family’s shampoo. It cuts through all the products and leaves our hair clean, soft and shiny. Charge more if you have to, but don’t water it down and think you can pass it off.
