Great while it worked
Bought it 7 months ago. Just started using it heavily 2 months ago. Today it suddenly quit communicating with the computer. Uninstalled and reinstalled, switched the ports. Still nothing. Maybe a new USB cord??? Frustrated

It's worth it!
I thought it was a little expensive when first buying but, after seeing it perform I am thrilled.
It's about 4 times faster than the scanners at FedEx Kinkos and I have much greater control over the file names and organization

excellent quality
Epson ES-856 we have been using over a week now. Its small but super efficient, very quite, and the scans are excellent. Superb quality. We have been using it for school work, and its incredible. Over all its the best color scanner we have ever had. Highly recommended !!

Dual sided and in color!
I am beyond pleased with using this Epson workforce color duplex document scanner.
Unpacking and set up was very easy, the scanner itself is actually surprisingly light weight with small, non bulky cords. The given instructions made downloading the software very simple and installation was quick.

Fast, effective scanner
It has now been one week since I first started using my Epson WorkForce ES-865 Color Duplex Document Scanner and it has been a major game changer. The scanner is quick, quiet and doesn't take very much space. The quality of the scans are excellent.

I love this Scanner Is Fast and of Excellent Quality
I love the size, it's perfect to move it wherever it's needed. I am using it to work from the house and I am also taking the opportunity to scan some documents that I had physically saved and that took up a lot of space (now I will save them digitally).

Great Work horse
This scanner was easy to get out of the packaging. Setup for the scanner was quick and easy and the instructions were easy to follow and understand. My wife who is not a technie like I am was able to follow them to get it physically setup. Once setup I decided to do some test scans as I had a bunch of documents I needed to input on my computer.

This thing is awesome. We have over a decade tried the all-in-one printer/scanner/copier, and have since accumulated tons of paper because the ADF on the all-in-one is slow, it's prone to error, the quality of the scan is suspect, etc. We've just settled for huge filing cabinet and hope for the best.
