Great Scanner
Purchased this scanner to do a LOT of archiving of documents. Had trouble getting it to work with an older computer (5+ years old). Works much better on a new computer. Scans fast!! Have now scanned over 2000 documents in two weeks with no problems. Makes great pdf files. Easy to install and easy to use. Great product.

Great hardware, terrible software.
The hardware is great, similar of what to expect from other leading brand high speed bulk scanner units. The software experience is awful. By default, the scanning button does nothing. The scanning tool is far from straight forward of how to configure the scanner button to work, the windows scanner configuration panel doesn't quite do the job either. When you DO manage ...

Worked great until HP screwed me
This was great at first, worked over a year without an issue. HP decided it needed a software update and forced me to update before it would let me scan my docs. Now my computer sees the scanner is there but the HP software doesn't I can't get in touch with HP support. So far spent 3-4 hours trying to get it to work again. GREAT SCANNER!
The build quality of the Pro 2000 scanner is pretty good, the visual quality of scanned images and text is very accurate and are never misaligned. After previously holding onto an old Konica Minolta copier for scanning, I'm very happy I donated the copier and replaced it with the Pro 2000. I should have made the change long ago.

Great little sxanner
Scans very quick, and will allow large scans. I have scanned a single document of 300 pages without a problem. Highly recommend.
