Awesome - where do I get the case?
I have a set of beacons from when they first came out, and I just love them. I recommend them to the faculty I support and use them in my own teaching. But how do I get that snazzy case? It wasn't available at the time I bought my beacons!

Works perfectly
This is exactly what I wanted for my classroom. It is easy to scan the whiteboards, and it shows up in locations instantly. My students can get all the notes they need, even if they aren't in class. It scans well even if there are shadows in the room.

Amazing idea!
great idea! Tested it and works really well. I carry them to other places, and when they have a whiteboard, it is so easy to place them and have a perfect pdf out of it.

Game changer!
I purchased the beacons because my team does a lot of work using whiteboards but we never end up with quality pictures of the work we do. Seeing the beacons as an option to maintain our work was something that really attracted me to them. I've used them multiple times and been able to save a high quality photo of our whiteboard work. Fairly Happy
Works Fairly well....Honestly my only issue is that you can't share via text message. Or if there is a way to do it, it seems to be hidden as I couldn't find it.

Where are the scans within the app?
Works well, but the scanned notes do not reside in the same location within the app. They are little hard to find.

Classroom hack ā
The beacons are a quick and easy tool I use to scan class notes to multiple classes at once. I wasnāt sure if it would work but my hunch paid off.

Easy
Easy to set up and to use. I use them for recording notes that I write for clients, then I can easily email them to myself and my client.

Potentially useful yet restricted by circumstance.
Concept is good but practice is for special circumstances- which I have not tried yet. The ability of software to convert hand- written charts, plots, tables , etc. determines the ultimate outcome.

So much better then taking a regular picture.
When you get awesome ideas out on a dry erase board you of course want to save that information. Writing it down is time consuming and taking a picture of the board is ok but never great.
These beacons are the perfect solution. Very clear, able to send it as a document instead of a picture as well. Iām happy with my purchase

Great for the workplace
I work as a firefighter, and so much of our classroom training occurs on a whiteboard. These things work great to quickly capture what we were working on before erasing the board for the next topic. We love these things.

Love these! Works great copying/scanning white boards and even pages from books! They come in their own carrying case and very easy to use...like other Rocketbook products!
